Our sweet little family loves pets. I have always been an animal lover. So has Big Daddy. Put us together and we are suckers for all cute, cuddly, sweet animals.
As a family, we have had 4 pets (well- that's not including pets like fish and turtles).
Pet #1: Big Daddy and I had a cat for 4 years. It was the meanest cat ever alive. He followed Big Daddy home one day and we are suckers. Just the thought of getting rid of "Hank" made me emotional, so we kept him until we moved into our new house and then we found him a new home.
Pet #2: Little did we know, our new home came with an outdoor cat. The family before us took care of it. They couldn't track Buddy down before they moved, so we inherited him. We loved Buddy. He was such an easy pet. He roamed all day, came home at night to eat, and on cold nights he would come in our house to get warm. When we moved once again, we caught Buddy and brought him with us. After several weeks, he disappeared. We have several theories about what happened to that sweet cat. To this day, when we see black cats running through the land around us or in our yard we hope it's Buddy returning home.
Pet #3: Big Daddy brought home a tiny little beagle puppy one evening (I was preggers with LB). He was adorable. After listening to him whine all night and finding pee pee spots all over our house, he was gone the next day. Poor thing never even had a name.
Pet #4: A lady at our church had two sweet puppies she was giving away. Puppies that she paid $300.00 each for--for FREE. Precious. His name was Kobe. My boys loved him. I loved him. He was so tiny and cuddly--and he had a small bladder, and he was very hyper, and he loved to lick, and he chewed things.... He made it a month and then he had to go (Big Daddy was growing impatient and there were pee-pee spots all over our house). We found him a nice new home to live in.
So--I get an email last week about a FREE yellow lab. FREE!!! A yellow lab is like our dream dog.
Please, tell me we don't need this dog. Remind me...
