Stretching the truth OR lying

William was overheard in Sunday School stretching the truth OR lying to his teacher. She asked the kids to raise their hands if they had a dog or a cat. BB quickly raised his hand and responded that he had both. He EVEN went so far to tell her the names of our sweet pets.

See, the thing is...we don't have a dog OR a cat. Not to mention the fact that he failed to mention the two turtles that I so diligently take care of everyday.

Afterwards, I asked him why he told his teacher that he had a dog and a cat because we don't.

He responded, "But, we can just pretend, can't we?"

or lie. whatever.
