Cheap DIY cupcake platter

Here's another Pinterest DIY project. For directions go here.

I purchased 4 hard plastic plates ($0.50 each--total $2.00) and 4 glass candlesticks ($1.00 each--2 different heights). So, total investment $6.00. (I really only NEEDED 2 candlesticks, but I wanted to have more on hand in case I wanted to make more of these.)

I used spray paint and coated the plates and 2 of the candlesticks. I planned on making a bright purple cupcake holder for LB's bday party this year and cream one for all occasions.

After everything was dry, I hotglued the candlestick between the two plates. Ta-da. A cheap, adorable cupcake holder.

So proud of myself. Can't wait to use these things.

Next up--I wanna make these.

(***if you make this little project, remember, do NOT sit food directly on the plates. Always put your food on a napkin because of the spray paint toxins)
