A co-worker brought these to school one day last week and they were unbelievable. Melt-in-your-mouth yummy. Can't-eat-just-one delicious.
And, to top it off, easy as pie.
-2 8 oz. cans of crescent rolls (I actually bought just the flat crescent roll dough.)
-2 8 oz. of cream cheese
-1 1/2 cups of sugar
-1 tsp. vanilla
-1 egg white
-1 tsp. cinnamon
-1/2 cup of crushed nuts, optional
1. In a 9 x 13 inch buttered pan, mold one of the cans of crescent rolls to the bottom.
2. Cream 2 boxes of cream cheese with 1 cup of sugar. Add vanilla. Spread over molded crescent rolls.
3. Mold other crescent rolls on top of cream cheese mixture.
4. Beat 1 egg white and spread on top of crescent rolls.
5. Combine 1/2 cup sugar, nuts, and cinnamon. Sprinkle on top of egg whites.
6. Bake at 350 for 30-35 minutes.
The verdict is still out on this one...I can't decide if I like these best when they are warm or once they have cooled completely.
Either way...bet you can't eat just one.
