Time for Traditions Thursday- your weekly dose of family traditions.
This is another gift tradition.
Each year my children get three gifts from Santa. Why, you ask?
Because Jesus received three gifts at his birth.
Neither Big Daddy or myself wanted to get into the madness of "Santa" outdoing himself each year or feeling like we had to buy a million things. This little tradition makes it easy.
Typically, we do one larger gift (a bike, kitchen set, etc.) and two smaller gifts (new Bibles, a new outfit, etc.).
Our boys also gets stockings-those are not counted in the 3 gifts. We fill their stockings with fun things like their favorite candy, bath bubbles, socks, small toys, etc.

I love all of your Tradition Thursday posts. Since this is our first year as a family with a baby we are just starting out. I like the 3 Santa gift idea... might have to steal it!
